Cruising up 89 through Utah

Wow!!!  is the first word that comes to mind when seeing these beautiful sites.

Before one site settles in, around the next curve comes another.

We spent a night at the Walmart in Page, Utah. It was crazy at the amount of campers staying on the parking lot there! This was the most crowded Walmart we have ever stayed at LOL.   Horseshoe Bend was just a few miles away. It was a breath taking view.  We had a good little walk and it was hot that day but certainly worth the effort.

Next we moved on to Zion National Park.  We stayed in a nice little park in Mt Carmel, just a few miles drive to Zion.  Still one beautiful view after another.

I had to add this photo because it is not what we are used to seeing …gotta love it!

At this point, we were thrilled to have our friends Chuck and Linda Milne join us!  They were kind enough to drive from their home in Las Vegas in their beautiful RV to see us. That thing is a beast! LOL.  We had several days together to see more beauty, share some meals and peaceful campfires.  The last time we had seen them was in 2008 when we were traveling with Pianafiddle and stopped in Las Vegas camping at CircusCircus on the strip LOL.
We spent a great day with them in Bryce Canyon stopping at every site point in the park! We have seen a great many National Parks and Bryce is now right there at the top of my list!

After our fun reunion, they needed to go home and it was time for us to move on.
We found a very nice RV park in Tremonton ID,  and only minutes from Crystal Hot mineral Springs. Having RA, (Rheumatoid disease)  unfortunately, comes along with painful swelling and flare ups (if you know, you know) so this sounded like just what I needed.  Ohhhh Yes!

We are now sitting at the Y Knot Winery (Harvest Host) in Glenns Ferry, ID on the Oregon Trail. Very interesting area and at the State Park next door there are visions of the past ruts left by the wagons.  The park is called Three Islands. The travelers that could, made their way across the  Snake river an island at a time.  Ohhh, how easy our lives are today.

Wellll… I did almost die after stepping into quick sand until my brave husband saved me!
Ok, maybe a slight exaggeration. Being in the west does something to you 😂

My Birthday was a great one,  It was a rainy day but Bobby got me a lovely gift, a great dinner, a chat with my son, lots of FB birthday wishes and topped it off with a Hostess chocolate cupcake!  Life is good!

Hope all is well…. we sure miss you!   Love you all and again thank for the BD wishes, I enjoyed each and every one!

Till next time…. Beni and Bobby
