Winter Surprise(s) at the Beach
What?? Snow at our winter escape? W e certainly were surprised to wake up to this winter wonderland a few weeks ago! I am sure there were those that live here or have come for the warm weather probably weren’t happy, but I absolutely loved it! What a cool thing to experience, it was pretty amazing sight. It didn’t last long and are back to nicer weather. The past month brought some other surprises in the form of friends and family. Our friends Tommy and Cheri drove down from Raleigh for a few days. They checked into a cute little beach house right at the end of our street here in the RV park. We had a great visit, played “joker” our favorite board game when we get together, hung out on the boardwalk, Broadway on the Beach, art gallery, played miniature golf (Cheri was the winner) and ate some great food and even got to play Juke Box Bingo at one of the restaurants.
